You might have to go to a new dealer. I've been going to the same dealer for 17 years and my last two visits were disappointing. I might have to visit a new dealer myself. This last go around it was the AC evaporator on a 2011 1500 with low miles and the first time the AC has gone out. During the repair the tech broke the blower motor resistor. We got the truck back, AC was working but the fan would only blow on high. Took it back and got charged parts and labor for replacing the blower resistor. The tech and the same service advisor did not own up to the mistake. I could not believe they returned the truck back to me like that. However, I did not raise any hell and paid but I will let them have it on the survey. The survey/feeback is taken by a live person and management does pay attention to them.
From my personal experience an AC repair should last anywhere from 3-7 years depending on quality of parts used. It just seems like they are not diagnosing it correctly. The AC system is pretty robust, no reason for something to break so quickly. I live in the south where AC is used almost year round and all in all never really had any issues like you are describing.
I did the AC myself on an older 2001 RAM, used a kit off ebay so parts quality was average, it lasted 3 years at which time the clutch coil went out, replaced it with a kit and was good to go. Good luck.
