Back up lights inop
the Body Control Module commands the tail lights (backup, stop & park), no relay. The BCM also talks to the rotary **** and transmission. At the tail lights, the backup line is connector C2 and pin1 for both right and left assemblies.

Yes, since I only have access to the wiring and not the circuits, I don't know what the driver looks like. I would pull both tail lights off and disconnect C2 and measure the voltage on pin 1 to ground. You may have a short somewhere in one of the tail lights causing the circuit in the BCM to crowbar. For those of you unfamiliar with the term crowbar, it basically means that the voltage collapses but when you remove the short, it may recover.
Yes, both bulbs are good. No voltage at either socket. I’ve been told to check the Body Control Module but I have no clue where it is.
