i have an issue with my blower motor please help

Default i have an issue with my blower motor please help

my 09 laramie the heater blower motor wont turn on untill the very least 15-30 minutes even when it is hot ill shut the truck off turn it right back on and same thing while its hot still have to wait 15-30 minutes every single time i start the truck is it the relay?

More likely a sensor somewhere. Moving this to the correct section for ya. Welcome to DF!

Does your Laramie have the automatic climate control? Have you tried different settings for the fan speed? Do all fan speeds have the same behavior?

Are you comfortable using a multimeter and making measurements at the blower motor directly?

hey it does have climate control it works with all settings when the blower decides to work same with fan speed im comfortable with a multi meter im going to have to travel back home before i can use it unfortunately dont have one to use in prince george up here visiting

could you tell me possible locations of sensors it would help alot or send me pics of where i can start looking ? it would be very much appreciated and ill just buy new sensors probably cheapest way to go atleast i can drive home without getting fogged up

Unfortunately I don't have any service manual information for the 2009 so I'm not sure where the sensors are. But you could check with your meter to determine if power is getting to the blower motor and it's just not starting up right away, or if the system is not actually commanding the blower motor to start.
