Hi, esp light is on all time(wich is on low right of dash). I have no defaut code and abs works fine. I don't know how to find the cause. I flush brake fluid to be shure there is no bubble in. When I drive hard to test esp this light flash then stay on.
This appeared after that I jack the truck and push 4x4 on and make it run to find a noise from front. I find play on front left cv axle. So I jack down the truck. And the next day this esp light came up.

 

check the connector to the wheel sensor. If the wire is not making contact, or the sensor is broken, then you get your symptoms

hello thank you for the answer. I just checked all the sensors everything is ok. I also did a test. when I unplug a sensor, 4x4 serv is displayed. I reconnected everything and the esp light is always on permanently. I followed the video to recalibrate the direction. nothing changes. I removed the brake pedal sensor. button to the left I find:
from the left. normally closed and 2 normally open.
I don t know what to do...and I have no scanner to read ABS...

 

Do your local auto parts store have a scanner to read the codes?

 

Hi. no i don't have a repairman nearby. And if I go miles to find one, it will make me pay for reading the codes ...
I know that to clear the codes of the ecu you have to disconnect the negative from the battery. But is there a manipulation to erase the esp abs codes ? Like connect + with - cables ?
I forget to say I drive tested this morning abs and esp work fine but light still on.

 

Or...can you tell me wich cheap scanner I can buy on web who able to reab body and abs ?

 

And if I say that there is 2 weeks ago I changed both front bearing wheel...and sensor with.

 

Here in the US, the auto parts stores will read codes for free. Not so in France eh?

Good price for a used 2006 Ram 1500 ABOUT 17K TO 22K EUROS to owner. This is why I bought mine on ebxx.com in US with all charges I get this one for 17k. But it s 2011.
Could my trouble came from 2 abs sensor that I have change ? I just read that I may have to intitialyze ABS with scan tool ...is it right ?

 

Anything is possible. You REALLY need to scanner to see exactly what it is whining about. Without one, it's only best guess, and the parts cannon. With one, it points you directly at where the problem is, but not necessarily WHAT the problem is.
