2011 ram 2500 ( 545re, 5.7 hemi) This one has me a bit worried, I get a p-2704 for my trans, only if i don't warm up the truck, before putting it in drive, I can clear the code and it will not come back unless I drop it in drive when its not warmed up. I have seen a few threads on this, but have not seen a fix for it, or if i should be very concerned.

great read, none of it is good news, but not terrible, prob time to change the trans, go with reman. any preferences?

 

I would take a peek in the pan first, and see if it isn't something 'easy'...... Transmissions are NOT cheap.....

 

just fyi that thread is for the 68rfe transmission. Not sure on how much that info will apply to the 545re transmission.
