I don't have any service manual information for a 2012 Ram, but I'm not sure based on the posts if your issue if that you're unable to unlock the doors ("has me locked out") or if you're unable to start the truck, or maybe you're unable to do either. Vehicles with these systems though have multiple antennas so they know if the key is outside the vehicle or inside the vehicle. If you're unable to unlock the doors with the proximity key AND unable to start the engine, that won't be due to just a single antenna. If it's only an issue with one, then for the time being either of these problems should have a bypass.
For example, the mechanical cut key located in the fob can be used to unlock the driver's door. If unlocking the door isn't the issue but starting the engine is and you have keyless start, there should be a specific locations within the truck, such as in the center console, in the glove box, or somewhere on the steering column, where is you hold the fob it will pick up the transponder and allow the engine to start. The owner's manual should have details on the specific location for your truck.
If you do not have keyless "push button" start but the key is not being recognized, then it may be the transponder antenna located at the key cylinder switch.

You are going to need the dealer for this problem. You get three try's to start and if the engine dies each time with a few seconds. The module will lock you out. The dealer will need to put a battery charger on the truck and leave a door open to keep the circuit alive. after an hour or more, the dealer needs to try the key code and see if the problem is fix. You should give all the remotes to program.
