Hello, I want to install bowl handle lights on the rear doors of my 2017 Ram 1500. I can't seem to find a ground wire. Does anyone know what wire inside the door panel to use? Do I have to run one into the door? The front doors we're no problem.

Yes I have power windows in the back. No problem finding power. There is no black ground wire in the door.

Hhhmmm..... polarity on the wires for the windows/locks will shift, so those likely won't work. Might be best simply to run another wire, and call it a day.

 

All electrical circuits require a return (ground) for the +12vdc. Anyway, I have a 2017 and access to the schematics. Here is the PDF of the grounds you are looking for, left rear.
