Start with cleaning the throttle body.

Not sure if this is your issue, but I had same kind of problem with my 2013 Dodge Hemi, Big Horn. Occasionally when I would make a turn it would die a bit, then it would be okay. It was scary though.

Then one day my power steering mechanism went completely out.

Thankfully I was in a parking lot. I thought it might have been from my truck sitting in an enclosed area with chlorine gas.

It was a very expensive repair. 3k. I have not had it happen since, but I have not driven too much lately.

Maybe power steering mechanism checked?

Is your battery more than 3 years old? If so, you might consider replacing the battery before spending too much time looking for another issue. At that age, buying a new battery isn't quite a waste of money, and it's possible that the capacity is low enough that the brake lights are causing the system voltage to drop to a level where the PCM is unable to perform to spec. This sounds far fetched, but I actually ran into a similar stalling scenario on my ex-wife's Lincoln LS. In that case though, it would typically only stall on the first stop after a cold start. The engine would start fine, she'd back down our rather long driveway, and when she'd apply the brakes to shift from Reverse to Drive, the car would stall. I spent a lot of time trying to figure that one out until one cold day when the car seemed to crank over slower than usual so I replaced the battery. The stalling issue never occurred again once the new battery was installed.

Did the check engine light come on? Or any other lamps on, a clock spring will give idling problems too. Thats because the clock spring share the same ground as the TPS. And do you have an inline fuel filter. I've had a fuel filter that gave me fits.
