Radio-"Vehicle phone requires service"
2013 Rm 1500 when I turn on the radio it shows" Vehicle Phone Requires Service" please contact dealer......Took it to Dodge dealer and they say they've never heard of that and the radio needs replacing for $950.00
I was able to get it past that screen and now the only thing I see when I turn it on is the Dodge Logo and / Sirrus Radio and nothing else.
Stuck in the position, can't control the ac / heater vents etc....called U-connect and they don't have a clue either.
Has anyone seen or heard of this before? Don't want to spend $950 then they find out it's something else. Checked the fuse, disconnected / reconnected the battery cables and no changes.

If they install the thousand dollar radio, and it doesn't solve the problem, they should put your old one back in...... They will likely wanna charge labor though... even though they "Guessed Wrong". Which is what they are doing. Guessing. Are they wrong? Don't know.
Yes I have seen this before, Too many times. Yes you will need to replace the radio. What the dealer could try to do is getting a thumb drive or flash drive and try to update the radio. If that doesn't work, Then the radio.
