Default ‘10 Dodge Ram Hemi, after trans service, won’t move

2010 Dodge Ram 1500 2WD 5.7. I’ve had the truck for 10 years. It threw a code for incorrect 4th gear ratio despite driving completely fine. Pulled the trans pan out of the truck, used a new solenoid from the kit and also put in 2 new filters. Buttoned everything up, torqued everything to spec, and now we got issues.

truck doesn’t move. Didn’t move once after starting it. Fluid level is good, 4 quarts of fluid in there. Threw a code for low fluid pressure and gear 1 incorrect ratio. Help?

Probably the O-ring on the internal filter stayed in the hole when you changed the filter, so the new filter isn't sealing properly, so, no pressure.... thus, no move.

This is where a drain plug in the trans pan comes in handy.

Silvergen4, it would be super DForum neighborly If you would just drop by for a second and tell how you did find and corrected the tranny problem.

I was about to suggest anytime there is a component to be R & R that is enclosed as your trans solenoid, just hand test it first before installing it I've had received new electrical devices to be dis-functional right out of the box.

Yes, log-back in and tell the Forum. It would be interesting and it give closure to your first post.

Did you remove the transmission to replace the solenoid pack or remove the valve body? To replace the solenoid pack the vale body and one filter would need to be removed. And if you did remove the valve body, did you line the pin back into the shift level on the valve body?
