I assume that would help with the misfire but its not gonna outright fix it is it?

It will likely at least reduce the misfires..... Depends on why cylinder 7 has issues. Your compression numbers aren't bad. Probably some seafoam in the tank wouldn't hurt.... Change the plugs, reset the computer, go for a drive. See what happens.
