Default Limp mode, need some advice

Hey guys so i came across a issue, not sure if what i did is related or just a coincidence but i had hit a water/mud hole real hard and went home, found out my bumper came off so when i went to go back the issue started. The issue is the lightning bolt dash light cane on and is saying “service electronic throttle control”. After some research i replaced the gas pedal since the throttle control is built into it and i worked for a few hours and issue came back and if im driving it throws it into a version of limp mode where it goes into 1st gear and doesn’t matter how fast im going and gas pedal doesn’t work at all. Found a little trick to bypass it (tap gas pedal on start up, gotta time it just right. My guess is it send the volts it needs to say hey im working) so i can drive it to my shop but im honestly just lost on what it could be. Maybe pcm, or throttle body?? Its a 2014 ram 1500 sport

There is another part to it as well, the electronic throttle body..... Best bet would be to get codes read, and if you can see live data, see if the pedal position sensor is sending an acceptable signal.

Probably something got wet, and didn't like it.

Careful with the air hose. Probably wouldn't hurt to pull the associated connectors, and blow 'em out a bit, hit 'em with the spray. Some Di-electric grease would help waterproof 'em better.
