Daughter may have cooked our 3.6 ram 1500... help.
Then its either spark, or compression..... possibly timing..... Have a good scanner?
Autel maxysis very good scanner. Compression is 160 all the way around both Banks. New injectors and they are pulsing through live data and if we unplug coils spark plugs are wet after cranking. 60 PSI fuel pressure.
Zero codes.
But live data shows 10° off from actual to desired intake and exhaust cam readings on both Banks. I just need to know if that's something this engine does on startup to retard the timing. Or if that's the cause of our crank no start.

10 degrees shouldn't matter, the engine should still start and run, maybe poorly, but, it should run.
So, question becomes, is it getting TOO MUCH fuel??? What does the PCM think engine temp is?

When cranking the engine over have someone feel for compression out the exhaust pipe. Or maybe remove the upstream O2 sensors to see if you have a REALLY plugged exhaust. Kind of grasping at straws here, but things are not making much sense.

Ya kind of thought that maybe it was plugged cat too but they usually start then die right away from my experiences anyway. I did get our shop guy to give the cats a couple wacks with a hammer to see if they sounded broken up inside but he said they sounded good. Butt i guess that doesnt mean much. I havent checked for compression at exhaust but i will tomorrow.
They are new injectors in there now and live data shows them pulsing within spec.
