Default Reman Engines, who's your preference

Looking at a used Power Wagon with a 6.4 Hemi, advertised as needs motor, its repo auction so limited information, was not able to run it at time of viewing. This is not a question of repo auctions, purely who's your engine builder preference.

I'm planning worst case scenario, it actually does need a motor. Reman seems to be my best option, salvage yard prices are 4-5k within reasonable driving distance. Remans can be had starting at 5 up to 10, and usually with a better warranty. A local mechanic friend speaks highly of Oreilles, he has used several, not sure who the actual builder is. Looking for first hand experience.

A reman with a good warranty is a better plan than a junkyard motor...... I've used Jasper in the past, but, that was quite some time ago, and I have no clue what their quality is like today...... Getting one from a local parts store, would at least give you a 'local' contact, if there are issues........
