Default Sport VS. Laramie - What are the differences?

Dodge's website isn't very clear on the differences between the sport and the Laramie. The local dealer doesn't have 09's in both to compare. I've done a search on this forum and this is all I could come up with:

1. Laramie has chrome vs paint on exterior (bumpers, doo handles)
2. Laramie has auto-tilt mirror in reverse (appears some sports had this but only early ones)
3. Laramie has memory seats - don't know if this is an option in the sport??
4. Laramie has auto 4x4, appears only early model sports could get this
5. Laramie has heated rear seats in the crew cab, no info if this is true for the sports as well
6. Sport has the performance hood as an option, laramie you would have to buy it separately
7. Laramie has a quieter exhaust system than the sport

This is all I could find. Is anyone aware of any other differences? Any interior trim differences? Any suspension, tow rating, drivetrain differences other than those listed above?

I priced out a 2010 fully loaded sport with the performance hood, vs a fully loaded laramie and the price was identical. Lower MSRP on the sport, but their are more options to load it up similar to the laramie which resulted in the exact same price.

Since the price is the same (loaded for loaded), I'd like to understand the differences.

I like the look of the sport better, but it is not worth it for looks if too many features are different.

Thanks!

One interior difference is the laramie has wood trim and more chrome. There's chrome trim around all the vents and a chrome "Laramie" badge on the passenger side.

You did very good research!

Heated steering wheel is available on the sport, so it is not a difference.

Get the sport if you like the look better, that outweighs the very minor differences of the laramie

I'm not 100 per cent sure on this but I believe the Laramie has the good radio standard and it's an option on the Sport.

Thats correct. There are many differences between the standard packages but both of them loaded are near the same.

Rear heated seats are not available on the Sport.
Fake woodgrain not available on the Sport.
Memory seats not available on the Sport.
More than one interior color available on the Laramies.
I think you can get a leather front bench in the Laramie as an option, not on the Sport.
Tilting pass mirror not available on the Sport.
Two Tone exterior paint not available on the Sport.
Don't know about 4 wheel drive.
Unique 20s on the Laramie.
Ram head on front seat back on Laramie.

I turned down many Laramies for the right Sport. How important are the items listed above to you versus body matched exterior. I've had all of the above in other vehicles and just didn't see a need for them again.
