Default crewcab subs

Hello all this is my first post and I am new to this whole forum thing. I just bought a 09 ram crewcab and want to put a pair of 12's under the back seat but not sure where I should get them from or if I should just have someone build them. Any information that I can get would be appreciated i.e. specs websites pics, or instructions. Thanks

If you want a prebuilt box, anything built for a quad cab from 03 up will work... MTX has them...

just my 2 cents, but if you want to use 2 12's I would do a seat lift and build a fiberglass box the uses all airspace available.I did that in my 4th gen and sounds great

I was thinking that also.....someone also told me that rather than risk the 12's with the limited space I should get two 10's (cvt). Also should I dynamat the doors and rear?

Dynamat will make the stereo sound better and help with the rattle. Not to mention kill some road noise

No I dont but you can use some stuff called fat mat. You can find it on e bay. Just a guess, 50sf should do the roof, doors, back wall and part of the floor.

Here is a pic of my first experience using fiberglass and resin. I used the carpet as a mold and then used 3/4 inch mdf to finish the top of the box. I also have a 1 1/4 seat lift. the seat lift is made from square tubing I bought from home depot.
