Unhappy Noisy trans when shifting from P or N to R or D at startup

After sitting all night. When first starting to back out of garage, there is a noisy transmission. but when I shift to N or P the noise goes away,
Just sitting, with the tran in park, there is no noise, but if shift to R or D, and have my foot on brake he noise begins. I then shift to N and the noise goes away.
If i leave the tran in R and back out of the garage and apply bake and stop, the noise is still there, but if I shift to N the noise goes away.
By the way the person who suggested to change dealers, that didn't work.
I find no dealer who really cares about listening to me.
I would also add that I can't get down on my knees and look undef the truck, I would never be able to get up again.
I'm 87 years young and this is my 3rd ram, and only 1 I ever had a problem with. The first 2 each ran over !50000 and 20000 miles.
Thanks for responses.
Max

I’m going to assume, based on the username, it’s a 2003 Ram.

NO, its a 2018 Ram Big Horn Hemi, trans is 8 speed.
Been to a dealer, if took a recording of the difference in the noise between putting it in R or D and shifting back to N or P.
All dealer would do is NOT EVEN listen to recording, but told me not to worry, if the noise doesn't go away then your warranty will cover it.
I don't even drive out of town anymore and only have 16000 miles on the truck, Noise has been in it since I first got it, NEW.

Does the driveshaft have a rubber boot on the driveshaft? If it does, pull the boot back and fill with grease. You maybe hearing the splines because they are dry, on the two piece drive line.
