Did it run good for a while after the motor was changed, and then the same problem cropped up again??

It ran fine from the time I bought it until the end of January. And yes it still did it after the motor was changed.

Then there has to be some other contributing factor, that the dealer is missing. So far as I know, there is no really 'wrong way' to start your truck. You get in, turn the key/push the button, and off you go...... Real curious what they expect you to do 'different'...... Just because it don't set a code, does NOT imply there isn't a problem. Where they get that kind of thinking, is beyond me.

Does it act up consistently? Can you demonstrate the problem for the service writer/whomever??

Yes its consistent. I told them I'll leave it over night and come over when ever they want, but they still think it's the way I start it and don't wait 3 or 4 minutes until the idle come down. They fail to understand that I've started the truck the same way since the day I bought it and had no issues whatsoever. And from what I've seen on other forums I not the only one with this problem.

Have you spoken to the service manager yet? If you have, next step is the general manager, after him, the dealership owner. If you haven't already, open a case with dodge customer care.

I would park the truck at the dealership, show up when they open, grab a service writer, and show him EXACTLY what is happening, and then let them try and convince you that are doing something wrong, or "it's normal"...... Don't call ahead, just leave it there after they close, and show up the next morning.
