Default ***MYGIG Navigation for sale***

Hello I have a new MYGIG Navigation unit for sale asking $850.00 . MYGIG unitdose not include the GPS antenna. I also Have a new REC Navigation unit for sale also REC unit includes the Navigation DVD, but dose not include the GPS antenna. be aware you have to take this to the dealer to have your pcm flashed after install
this only has to be done with my gig but this is a steal of a deal

With the radios for the '06's and up, they require the computer to know what radio is in when the radio is OEM. Aftermarket radios just have this bypassed as they are not needed to turn on and be used. OEM radios need the computer to turn on and be operated. You can have all the wiring done correctly, the radio installed, but if the computer does not know what radio you have, it will never turn on.

I really dont think that is correct, as the power up messaging on the CAN bus is identical for all of the OEM radios. Once the radio turns on it will register with the PCM for it functions. Our test vehicles never have a problem when switching out the radios here in the car lab. That may be because there is an engineering flash for the PCM but that dosnt seem likely to me.

I am a test guy for the company that makes the MyGig (NTG4) for Chrysler...

It doesn't mention needing a reflash on the Mopar website when looking up radios there.
