This looks really great dirtydog. Very nice package. I'm thinking of a slightly different use maybe.

Couple questions:

1. How long is the black lead harness? Enough to go across firewall (assumed) to tie LED strips?

2. Can a manual switch be easily incorporated to your setup?

Thanks!

The harness does go across from one side to another, but gets attached to the hood, not the firewall. I could make the wiring slightly longer for you if you wanted to drop down along the firewall but then there would be multiple wires being moved around during the opening and closing of the hood. The harness is over 6ft long between the lights.
I do have switches and can certainly add one to theis set-up. You can go straight off the batery with a fuse holder or still tie into factory hood wiring. I have sealed rocker switches and fuse holders that are available. You could do the existing set-up and just add a switch so you can easily turn them off with th e hood open. Super easy.
If your use is far out there, PM me and I can make another design if you'd like.

Awesome deal here... Just did this myself and cost the same as dirt's kit. The excpetion being his led strips are a foot longer, and his wire loom is much nicer. Also alot of time saved because you don't have to fab it all up. WELL worth what he is charging IMO.
