The Ashtray cover on my 02 Ram 1500 is damaged and beyond repair. I need to replace the thing. Anyone know where I could find one? This request is so "off the wall" that I can't find one!

I have the gray interior, this cover basically just snaps into the dash where an ashtray should be. Here's a pic where the cover snaps into the dash. Any help is appreciated!!

Try farther away from your house/home. I know I had to drive 80 miles to get a transmission for my LeBaron. Saved myself 800 dollars too.

 

Man, I've tried from Columbus to Dayton (at least 8 different yards). Probably just bad timing. Fricking amazing that a piece of plastic would be so damn hard to find. thx for the help though.

 

If you are still looking for the ashtray try http://car-parts.com, it shows listings for junkyards from coast to coast.If that does not help you may be stuck with the dealer.GOOD LUCK!!!

Thanks for the link Motorhead.. I sent the request through tonight. I put through a similar request on http://www.junkyardog.com a few weeks ago and didn't receive any responses back.

Been a little busy the last few weeks and haven't had a chance to check the local yards again. May try that again soon too...

I can get you one from a totaled unit at a local junkyard. $25.00 shipped. It just snaps in. You will have to paint it. Dodge dealership have the paint codes and paint to assist you. I have painted many interior items and they come out nicely.
