Capacitor Installed, No Digi Display
So ya, I got it installed at Best Buy. I bought the 1.5 Cap. through an online site for 30 bucks. After I got it installed, [professionally I might add] I noticed my Digital Display on it was not working. Could this be due to a lack of some wires not being upgraded to 4 AWG? my power and ground for it are, but my power wire and another ground under the hood are not. Any suggestions? I'm just hoping it's not a faulty capacitor; I'm very impatient when ordering/receiving and or sending back for replacement -.-

Most smaller caps up to 2 faradusually work on voltage change, larger onesusually work on a remote wire. But it sounds like yours might have the remote wire setup. If not, then it is a faulty cap. It would have nothing to do with the size of your power or ground. They may effect the actual voltage reading on thegauge if it's a bad ground, but it won't make it not come on.
The first thing I thought was remote as well. Alright I'm looking at the manual as I am typing this. I'm looking at a page that has TWO diagrams. The top shows a remote coming off the top of the cap., and the bottom one without a remote hookup. At the top of MY capacitor, I have my Positive and Negative, and I also have a third smaller screw, so it forms a triangle on top of my cap. That may possibly be my remote? If so, ya it's not hooked up anywhere, and why would there just be a random tiny screw on top right? Well to the right of that diagram it shows model numbers....mine is CA155XB. The list next to that diagram only shows 100XB and 150XB haha, but I suppose if you just rounded down >.<.
If you have an extra smaller terminal on the cap then I would wager that's your remote wire. Hook that tot he same remote wire as the amp uses and it should pop on. The cap will still work without that hooked up, you just won't have the display.

Ya it worked. Sorry I didn't respond to this faster, i've been working alot. The "professional" I had hook my cap up must not be all that professional. It took me like 2 minutes just to hook it all up, and she works like a charm. Thanks for all your help guys.
