i hooked the converter to

gray/blue
gray/orange
dark green/orange
darkgreen/ blue

but for some reason the bass is always playing really loud even when the volume is turned way down. I tryied messing with the gain on the converter but didn't do anything... any anwsers???? alaso whats a good place in the fuse box for the power turn on lead?

what kind of LOC and did you try checking on your Amp to make sure the Gain isnt turned up insanely high?

yeah i connected it behind the radio. And yes i did turn the gain on the amp down and all it did was turn the subs down as if there was no power going to them.

i didnt mean turn the Gain all the way down lol... But what im saying is if your gain is too high that u will not be able to distinguish the volume differences between the subs and your HU. There def sounds though like their is somethign wrong with the wiring... I know that Scosch and i think Peripheral both make LOC's and i have used them and they are terrible, I have experienced problems with them before... Now i use David Navone Engineering LOC's if i ever do installs.
