Sorry to bring up a old topic...

I've got a Mean Green HO Alternator installed (200 amps hot) 110 amps @ idle
I've got a Diehard Platinum 880 CCA battery installed
I did a 0 gauge run from the main negative to battery negative, i could not do the positive run from alt to pos battery..there was a very hard plastic/rubber insulater on it and i couldn't get a 0 gauge ring terminal in there... and i've yet to do a 0 gauge run from battery to chasis.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

 

I would try to that alt to battery + done.....especially with that bigger alternator you have now.
