each brand differs, each amount of power differs, i personally prefer a 12 it sounded great in my startus and sounds great in my truck! it is kinda big for the truck, but once i get my new box it will be all good again!

I've always prefered 12s. I listen to alot of different types of music from rock, to country, to hip hop and techno. In my experience twelves sound good with all of it. I've found 15s tend to be a bit muddy with the faster paced music and tens just dont have the umph

 

well since im more of an spl guy and if i have the room in like a car or an suv i like a 15 but in a truck i dont have subs.

 

12' are the best.....
