I went to install a new Pioneer N4 Stereo in my 04Ram SRT 10however I can not make the Amp come on...I have power and everything else but the amp will not turn on ? What do I need to get the dam amp to turn on I want to use my factory amp it sounds fine to me and I want to use it...Also where is the VSS wire for the navagation part ....I know the amp thing has something to do with the Streo going off when I open the door...Do I need a special Interface and if I do where can I get it ...Any help you guys can give I thank you ....Asab..........

 

Do you have a harness adapter that looks like this ?

If you have the Infinity system it says you must relocate the radio and provide power to it.

As far as the amp not turning on you need to hook up the remote wire from your aftermarket HU.

As for the VSS wire your gonna need a wiring diagram for your vehicle.

I found out today they do not make a interface from PAC or the other guys (forgot there name)They said 2004 was the only year they did not have an interface for so I amamp and speaker bound...Just thought I wouldthrow it out to everyone here...If you have a 2004SRT-10 andwant to use your amp your out of luck.....Asab.........
