I was curious which radar detector everyone uses? I live in Houston and have a lot of laser used over here, I was thinking about going with the V1 ? Anyone else use this. I found this one website at http://www.RadarReviews.net which helped out a bunch, but I was curious what all you guys used as well.

And I got the same exact one at Wal-Mart for 40 bucks. It works wonders.

 

I've had this one for a while now (Cobra XRS-9430, $130),never gotten one speedingticket with this bad boy,it doesentget set off by unwanted signals very often either.

 

I've got the V1 and three Escorts ... All are very good detectors ... My V1 has been flawless but needs sent in for an update ... My Escort 8500 just died came up with a needs calibration message , So back in it goes (X mas gift last year so Warranty Woot!!! )
