Default Add subs & amp to stock Infinty/Nav headunit??

I've searched for information regarding this, but cant seem to find anything.

If someone could help me out i would greatly appreciate it:

I have a 2005 Dodge Ram 2500 CTD Laramie Quad Cab w/ the Infinity sound system/head unit. I really like the Head Unit and its features(NAV CD and GPS) and would like to keep it..so my question is:

I have a sub box and amp...what is the correct way to install these while using the factory head unit. I figure i'll need a line out converter, but where to splice it in im not sure.

Thanks for the help, i appreciate it!!

When i hooked up my RF sub and amp to my stock speakers and stock deck i needed a converter that plugs into the speakers and converts it into RCA cables. then u run all the other wires as you normally would. except the remote wire. i usually just tap into a wire under the dash the turns on and off with the key.

High level to low level convertor , Converts speaker level to RCA level outputs , just connect it across a rear speaker and adjust levels
Then run the power wire from the battery thru a fuse and back , ground the amp , You can use the remote turn on from the infinity amp , or run a seperate line from the radio power back
connect the rca's
connect speakers...
adjust gains ...

I Hooked mine into the rear speakers, just make sure you hook it up so when the truck is off the system will still run, if you have it that way.

I think I actually blew my line in adapter Is this possibe.

Makes perfect sense when you turn your truck off your radio is still on so why have your sub cut off????? But as soon as you open your door everything is turned off.
