Default audio freaks- What is your FAV.

I was just wondering what your favorite speakers or subs are or manufacuter of said items.
don't worry about amps or anything else cause you'd have to match it to your needs/speakers anyway.

I'll give a couple of my tops.
IMAGE DYNAMICS would be my absolut top pick. but you can't just go grab a set from your local box stores. I was first blown away by the sound and handling by their component set up, add that to their top notch subs

Next.
ELEMENTAL DESIGN - also a great sounding speaker, and again not normally seen in the mix of JBL, rockfords, mtx and so forth. You have to order them in most cases.

I could go on, but would like to hear what you guys like.

Image Dynamics stuff is pretty sick, I've heard a few set ups but havn't had the opportunity to install any of their equipment. As far as speakers go, I'm a pretty big fan of the Rockford T-series subs. I've always had some strange infatuation with RF with no real explenation why. Next would be JL or Alpine

just like anything else the prices vary.

Image Dynamics.
Here is a link to an online dealer. http://www.woofersetc.com/b36/inmage-dynamics.htm

and a link to the dealer locator, search by state.
http://www.imagedynamicsusa.com/dealerLocator.php

Elemental Dysings has prices on their website.
check the links. I'd purchase by what your needs are. If your not sure there is a forum for both sites, you can ask questions about what type of set up you'll want.

i am all JL in my truck, speaker wise. I have had them for a LONG time, and they have put up to a lot of crap. Just goes to show you what good quality, and appropriate system design will do for you...

Concept and Directed both make some inexpensive, quality amps, clean and efficient. Boston and MB Quart are definitely noteworthy.

I have only heard the IDs once, but they were very impressive.

Im all over the board really. My favorite stereos I had were Jl's, 3 12w3 with a PG zx500, and the headbanger, 2 18w6's with a PPI 1800w (both in a hatchback mustang)

I also liked mtx for a while, and Ive had a couple RF setups, 2 15hx2's and a bd1000 for instance.

Im impressed with the type r's so far, for being a couple 10's. They need a bigger box then what I have, I believe.
