Ram infinity front speakers no sound???
I had replaced the front 6x9 speakers and the rear 5 1/4 speakers in my 1998 ram 1500 club cab as well as the deck with an after-market one. I am now selling the truck so I put all of the original speakers back into the truck as well as the stock deck, their is now no sound coming out of the front 6x9 speaker and tweeter however it sounds normal out of the rear speakers. What could it be I'd really like to figure it out soon so i can list this thing and get it sold.
The truck had the Infinity system.

They aren't getting voltage to turn on. I'm not familiar with the speakers that have an amp built in but I'd imagine you'd be best off swapping them out for some aftermarket speakers. If you do make sure the front of the speaker is sealed up against the panel with some closed cell foam to prevent cancellation. You might also see if there's a turn-on wire to splice into that you could run the turn-on wire from the headunit to. Really if it were me in your shoes I'd give some aftermarket coaxials a solid install with an external amp (doesn't have to be a big or expensive amp) and call it good. If you have any doubts about anything contact your local trunkmonkey.

The Infinity system has left and right amps that mount on each of the front speakers and power the fronts and pass-through to the rears unamplified. My guess is you did not connect them back up properly. There is a blue wire from the head unit that turns the amps on.
My thoughts as well.
Great minds, etc...
If anyone's interested, here's what just the Infinity amps look like.
