you definitely need to put the GPS ant under the dash cap. Dont worry it will work fine.

yea RH, you can cut yours to make it fit, but will have those holes from the volume/channel buttons. I messed up and got a flip out 1 1/2 din, wish I woulda gotten the double din. Just installed one in my buddies dodge. Just dremeled the center bar out of the bezel and I cut some abs plastic for those holes

Looks good OP, how much was that HU

Here we go... Got it all done today, took about 8 hours total to do the dash bezel start to finish.

First I cut the opening to size and Gorilla glued plastic pieces to the sides.

I taped off the area to be bondo-ed then bondo-ed it. I wanted to keep the texture of the bezel from that crease down, and have just from there up be smooth.

First layer sanded down with 80grit and then I checked for placement.

2 more layers of bondo and sanding were done to get it perfect and here it is after the final sanding.

Wiped it all down with a lacquer thinner and masked it all off.

Primer.

Painted flat black and installed.

I am happy with the way it turned out. The only thing left im gonna do is sand it down with a fine sandpaper like a 900 or 1000 and give it a final coat. I'm really proud of this whole install. What'yall think?

I think you did a damn good job. Sticky for sure!

Do you only have bondo filling in the sides or is it some abs also?

Yes, on the sides I glued in some ABS and then bondo-ed over them.
