What's the build list?
Its all rockford fosgate subs, amps, and wiring, alpine type x components for the fronts and boston acoustics for the rear for fill

Ive taken apart many interiors and this was by FAR the easiest. its 4 bolts per seat and a few clips that just pop out. The carpet is molded and comes out in one peice with no issue. The panels are all held in with just clips. Its a VERY well designed interior. I give dodge a huge amount of credit for it. Like the others said, if you can pull it apart, you can put it back together

The subwoofer enclosure will be custom fiberglass, and yes im doing it myself (first time ever with fiberglass). I've got the old system mostly pulled out and i have to say im pretty impressed with the install. It was really clean. No guess work, just a TON of wiring (you can see it in a ball where the passenger seat was).

By the way Hammer, 20 yrs ago while you were tearing out car interiors, I was sitting in a highchair

What do you plan on doing for placement of your subs and amp? Lots of people stick the amp under the front seats.
Assuming you will be dropping your subs in the storage under the rear seats, how do you plan on fiberglassing? Will you use a heavy poly and just do it all inside the truck, or build a mold and do it outside of the truck?
One guy i talked too said he just rubbed the fibreglass right in too the carpet :s

Subs will utilize the underseat storage areas. I'll use the metal as a mold for the first 2 layers until the fiberglass can hold its own shape, then i'll pull it out and do the last 4 layers. Fiberglass on the carpet is not a good idea because then you can never take it out again. Amps will be placed on a rack built for the back wall.

I was right there with Hammer....I did side jobs with a mobile audio place 20 years ago....I had so much stuff in my truck at the time and it sounded great! But now, mp3 player and a pair of 6x9s and I'm happy! LOL

Car audio has come a long ways. We are waiting for some kind of install/progress pics....

little update. no pics. deal with it

Last night I finished pulling out the old system. Much to my surprise, the MB Quart speakers up front were components! I was very confused when i found the crossovers, but not the tweeters. Apparently they replaced the 3.5" on the dash with the tweeter. Since I'll be putting my tweeter on the door (triangle piece that covers the mirror bolts), I bought the best 3.5" i could find. Boston Acoustic S35. Although this had no weight in my decision, they will compliment the rears which are Boston S65 6.5" coaxials.

This afternoon I worked on repairing some wiring and prepping for the new wiring install. Just had to solder back together a couple wires and reconfigure the head unit a little bit. Nothing major. The hardest part is the planning -- gettin thoughts organized.

I also put in the first round of RaamAudio BXT II sound deadener which went on the back wall and inside the doors. Im working all day tomorrow and monday, so monday evening is my next chance to work on it. Plans for monday evening:

1) Seal all door holes with aluminum panels and self tapping screws (thought about riveting them, but want access if needed later on.
2) Cover all 4 doors with remaining BXT II.
3) Start covering the floor with BXT
