Sounds like a dying/dead unit to me man, cheapest fix is an aftermarket deck proably run you $80 and you can install it yourself!

I was going to suggest the Infinity amp as it put power the the stock speakers. But then it could be the remote wire from the HU to turn the amp on.

But as suggested, since it is out, I would replace with after market for better sounds

Atleast the engine noise is louder than you breathing so it's all good right?...lmao

Have you checked your fuses? i believe the Infinity system has a fuse for the amp controls and a fuse for the radio.

All other controls work but no volume!! This seems to be a problem with all radios in all makes of Dodge vehicles!!! How do we get dodge to fix the issue?

I am sorry you are experiencing an issue with the radio. There is a service bulletin 08-001-11 Rev. A for a software update that may address your issue. This bulletin involves upgrading the software on the RER, REW, or REP Radio. Your servicing dealer will be able to review if the bulletin is applicable or if there are other software updates available for your radio.
