Radio turns on ... but no sound
ive got a 00' ram with the stock infinity systm. i was workin outside and was using my radio so i didnt have to listen to myself breath and out of nowhere it just quit playing. the radio still turns on and changes station and everything, but wont put out any sound. im clueless right now ... and this all happened around mid summer. im gettin sick of driving around with no music...
i have a JVC HD layin around that hooked up. i know it works, i just had it in my vw about a month ago. and it does the same thing. could it have todo with those amps on the back of the stock speaker?

I was going to suggest the Infinity amp as it put power the the stock speakers. But then it could be the remote wire from the HU to turn the amp on.
But as suggested, since it is out, I would replace with after market for better sounds

Have you checked your fuses? i believe the Infinity system has a fuse for the amp controls and a fuse for the radio.

I have a 08' Nitro R/T with the Infinity Sound System and my radio HU does the same thing. From time to time it worjs great then other times there is no volume!! All other controls work but no volume!! This seems to be a problem with all radios in all makes of Dodge vehicles!!! How do we get dodge to fix the issue?
