Amps put out different power at different ohm levels, that amp puts out 1000 watts at 1 ohm, which you would be running with 2 dvc 4 ohm subs. Mess around with this

 

am I getting this right If I ran the amp at 1 ohm, then both subs would get 500 watts, or am I way off?

I think I will stick with the blaupunkt subs and amp I had decide on earlier, they are more cost effective then the Alpine ones. me going to college next year, I need all the cash i can get. maybe once im out ill set up an alpine system. Thanx for all the help you've given me!!!!!
