Default RE: SPL question...

Finally, I have the new System. Went from 4 15 inch HX2 Fosgates in a cougar to 1 12 Inch SOLO X Kicker in the rumble bee. It almost sounds the same still breaking it in then will Meter it in two weeks. I believe I am hitting around 145 DB give or take one DB. The box is massive ended up going with about 7 square foot of air space instead of the recommended 6. And the port is massive It is like having an air conditioner over on the passenger side. now I just need another kenwood to replace my current excelon. Here's the edit! I knkow about what it takes to raise a couple a DB's alot of power or air space if something sounds twice as loud it in reality only goes about 2 or 3 decibles higher. Since the two systems I have sound the same to me and vibrate the body about the same I am only figuring the above figure by guess until I SPL it. My postings can be verified through the DB DRAG sight or I don't know how to spell it right this second but sounds like USAAC. Maybe I will see some of you guys at the next event that is close to Oklahoma.

Who all is/has metered their system for SPL?

I had mine metered last summer and hit 140.1 db, and I am curious to see what everyone else is hitting.

Thanks!!
My Celica was doing 157's on dash (legal SPL). (2) Shocker EXTREME 15" subs and 2 EarthQuake D2 amps @ 1ohm (2200 watts per sub).

My van I'm (still) building will have 8 Lanzar OPTI 2000D and on 2 DD 9515 subs. The enclosure is 20 cubic feet (WALL @ C- Pillar) with 600 square inches of vent. Built of 1" HDF, GORILLA Glue, and 2.5" Brads. Hoping to get it into the 160dB area. It should be ready for SBN (Spring BReak Nationals) in Daytona in March 05'.
