I am just not sure that will work because I did read this on crutchfield's site.

"The factory amplifier is located behind the glovebox and must be bypassed if an aftermarket stereo is installed (it is controlled through the PCI Data Bus). Total power in this system is rated at 240W."

IMO i know crutchfield has good info...the acura i worked on had the bose system...but i would try to cut and bridge it to the remote wire before you go and spend alot of money on a harness...if it works you know you saved money...if not then youll know you need it...but if you have to get the harness...try ebay cause i know there cheaper on there

Better sound is going to come in the form of an after market head unit with either an after market amp or after market door speakers run off the amp or HU

Thanks Weedahoe, thats what I will do. What about the dash speakers? do I leave them unhooked because of the crossover in the factory amp?
