I just orderd the box that replces the center front seat from e-bay.. i should have it next week.. ill post pictures of the installation and any comments in this thread..

Hey bud i got the 05 quad cab also.. it only takes a 12" right.. also whats the type of fabric i have its not leather.. i wanna make sure i get the right stuff.. for some reason i cannot contact seller

i can get you the guys info off of eBay. the guy is pretty cool and the quality is outstanding. when inside my cab, you can NOT tell where the sub is mounted for where the bass is coming from which i like. [sm=happybounce.gif] you tend to just feel the POUNDING. lol

1beast will you post some pics? the ones on that guys ebay page suck, all you can see is a stock looking seat, I would like to see the enclosure from the bottom and where the sub is, is that possible for you to take pics of that?

it would be kinda hard to post the pics of the underside now since its installed (bolted to my truck floor now). but what i can tell you is this, the box is sealed TIGHT [sm=trust_me.gif], the speaker (10' or 12') will fire down into the floor of your truck. i will see if i have pics of when my guy installed mine (i think i do..i'm getting old and can't remember for sure) and i will try and post them later.

is it still possible for someone to sit in the middle seat or is that no longer functional?

anyone who has the mtx thunderform box - whats its like when you have passengers in the back seat - do they compress the seat onto the sub?

no problem with someone sitting there at all. the middle seat height is a bit higher than normal (jl w6 12' mounted) but the padding is the same as original or a bit better.
