Radio connection question, '01 Neon
I have posted this also in the Neon section. I have a radio from an '01 Neon. The wiring diagram on the back (feed connector) shows the following: batt+, acc., illum., and park. Which of these is used as a memory. Can't seem to retain memory on the radio. Should the proper wire be hooked to 12v constant, or 12v switched? Thanks, David.

Weedahoe.... Thanks for your reply. That's what I thought, but having to hardwire the '01 Neon radio into another make of vehicle confused me. Most assumed I was using the radio in an '01 Neon, w/ a factory harness. I probably didn't make my install too clear. Thanks, David.

Weedahoe... Thanks for the info. on the factory diagrams. I have looked at the site a number of times for factory connections, etc. Good for that, but not for putting an XXXX car brand radio into a YYYY car . The '01 Neon radio went into a '85 VW Quantum. VW sure can mess up some wiring (changes in colors from one end of the car to the other, etc. Thanks, David.
