Android 4.3 issues with Uconnect
Samsung is supposed to be releasing a maintenance SW update for this and a few other issues that they are having with other vehicle lines as well as ear buds and BT speaker systems. I was told that it should be released this month, I have tried to get them to give me an idea of when. Still waiting for a reply back.
mmark27,
No, it will be fixed and is currently being worked on. The issue that I have found out is that there are several issues that Samsung is having with Android versions 4.3 & 4.4.2. There are issues with other vehicle lines also and some of the other vehicle mfg's won't even pair up to the phone and there's some ear buds having issues. So this is where the timing is becoming a problem, if our issue was the only one then it would be easy. What I'm being told is that they plan on a maintenance update late this month - early July.

Samsung is still working on other issues that they need to add to the maintenance update. There is a member on Challengertalk.com that has found a widget that he says works. See post # 62.

I found this on the Jeep Wrangler site;
Go to
Settings > More > Location Services > My Places
Select Car, Select Blue Tooth, and then save.
I am now able to find my phone book on UConnect. I am using android version 4.4.2 on a Samsung Galaxy S4 with the 430N. Many thanks to "Crazy Mike" for the post and "BigWreck" for the re-post.

System update for Sprint today. 1 call made successfully hopefully it last!
Yeah, I have no idea why this worked. Just a heads-up, this worked for my 2014 Wrangler. It even reads text messages now. However, it did not work with my 2011 Grand Cherokee (same 430N radio). I hope the Verizon update is soon.
