Default Cool Dodge Door lights

Hello,
I found these lights on fleabay.


Shines on the ground when you open the door... I bought 4 x for my '37 Dodge.

There's a red & black wire in the flex.
Red to + black to -
I just parallel wired to existing door light circuit.
If you have an interior light circuit that switches ground through the door switches, then you need red to a + source (fused of course)
and the black wire can go to the door switch wire. Simple. Open the door, the door switch makes ground, light comes on.


Another thing I am considering is liberally coating them (what's inside the door cavity) with plasti dip "liquid electrical tape"
I use this in my job to protect PCB's from water damage in battery powered tools.
