damn man, thats a really nice unit. i got a cheapy $100 bestbuy special. are you using an adapter to wire or are you hacking into the factory wiring? my adapter had similar colors to the HU... and the wires had little discriptions on the sheathing. it was really easy to connect.

i would hook up your Power On/Amp blue wire. just tape off the power antenna wire.

good luck!

connect the speaker wires to the output side of the factory amp,you have to bypass the Infinity systems amp to play your aftermarket head unit.

Door panels: Remove the large screw behind the door handle, remove the screw at the door post,by mirror, unscrew the door handle,it will take a "torques" driver to do this, lift the door panel upward to unseat the retainer clips.done deal

Someone else just mentioned that this works - they said they connected theirs at it was all good - whyh can't we use the factory amp??

I can disable the headunit amp - which i tried, but it still doesnt work - my connections look good - (most likely i am missing something)

i also just connected the factory stereo - to make sure i didnt blow something and it still works... im at a loss

I have no idea why the aftermarket head unit wont work with the Infinity amp,I am going by what I have been told by Crutchfield and 2 local installers, one of which does the custom A/V stuff for the local Dodge dealer,so I am at a loss as to why it wont work, like i said,i was going by what I have been told

I wouldn't advise that since you'll be bringing some channels down to 2 ohms. I doubt the HU amplifier is meant to go anywhere below 4 ohms. It will work but might fry if you push it hard.

not sure how accurate your advice is here boyd. i got mine working with a simple wire harness and kept my factory amp and speakers all working. NO BYPASSING OR HACKING NEEDED. i will post you a pic of the wiring sometime tommorow.

BTW...a new HU makes the system sound SOOOOO much better....next up, sub & amp
