i dont follow..i planned on splicing into the line fron the trigger in the door frame to the lights under the dash (since i dont have a dome light) so long as im downstream of the switch, i think it should work...or it wont...im gonna try to wire this at work monday...
yeah...work, at a garage from 7am to 4pm...
i think i wil change my oil...power flush my tranny...align the car...and run a 3 step engine cleaner, alogn with running some wires. all while getting paid, and using company supplies..

If that doesn't work where the voltage doesn't fade, you could probably use a capacitor and resistor from the power side of the neon to ground. This way the capacitor is charged during operations and when the power is lifted,ie turn power off, the capacitor discharges through the neon light, causing the dimming.
