hey, that was just my .02. i wouldnt be replacing any wires alternators or batterys until something failed. because like the above post mentioned, the amp he choses may not pull enough power to actually cause failure.[sm=smiley20.gif]

I agree, I dont have loads of cash to jst go out and put a new alt and battery in my truck as I please. But if he has dimming a cap wont help at all and jst be wasted money. The simples and cheapest thing to do if you are having dimming is doing the big 3. You change the alt to battery power wire, and reground the battery and alt.

well, an amp that would put 1600w max would be the mtx tc6001. check it out. i have it pushing my 2 infinity's. its way good of an amp. no weakening.

Was planning on doing that no matter what... well, if I hook it up.

Not sure I'm going to hook them up though, I noticed today that the A/C puts a pretty hard load on the engine. Bad enough to make it easily noticeable by both sound and performance. Wish I would've used the A/C before and noticed this. lol.
