Do you have the upgraded system in the truck?
If so there is a stock amp, and if you replace the amp you are going to have to re wire the speakers, and why are you trying to hook an amp up to factory speakers/deck? It will blow the speakers.
and no there is no RCAs in the back of a factory deck, you are going to need a line out converter to do this. If you do this for about 2-4 months your system will sound good then the speakers will blow.
Its like putting +500hp to a stock tranny...

Don't go to Crutchfield for your line control they only sell the Rockford one and it cost to much at my local audio shop they sell the Audio control LC6i for 150.00 it is a much better unit for adding amps to a stock head unit . I was gonna go that way but I did all the math and it didn't add up I would still have the stock H/U with limited features instead I got the Kenwood DPX501 .

$150 for a LOC?? That's ridiculous. You realize all it is is 2 capacitors and 4 resistors right? The variable ones use 2 resistors and 2 pots instead, but still. I make my own for about $5 with parts you can find at radioshack. $150 is crazy. And you won't blow the stock speakers with an amp. Only if you don't set the gains properly. It would be pointless really not to upgrade them, I'm not disagreeing with that at all, but you'll only blow them if you abuse them.
