Default 1999 1500 Trying to find/eliminate short

I have a 99 1500 v8magnum quad cab... and I had the front end , leanin to the right, in water overnight, I had gotten stuck in some mud.... Now I've fixed everything, except now, about a week later, the radio doesnt wanna work. It was working fine, I listened to it while i worked on her, but now, that fuse circuit just keeps shorting, Everytime i replace the fuse, it instantly blows. Where do I start tryin to find the problem? Im assuming its associated to the portion of the front end that was under water or atleast got wet. I had water up to the doorpocket on the passenger front side, it wasnt aton of water, but it was def in water.... where can i start tryin to find the problem? I cant afford to take it to shop yet, so Im tryin to fix myself in the mean time

Do you have the infinity system? Did the factory amp get wet? (Passenger kick panel) Also did the speaker in the drivers door get wet? If the speaker got wet it shouldnt blow the fuse right away, in fact just the sound should cut out. But ya never know.

Im not sure If i have the infinity system and I didnt know the factory amp was in the passenger doorpanel... The speaker was working, and it wasnt underwater, it was close to the speaker though, but if since you said the amp was in the door, I'm assuming that it the biggest possibility. Is the amp under the speaker?

Just popped kickpanel off. I believe you right with the amp possibly being the culprit. But I can see the amp very easy... Where precisely is it located? Is it burried?

Ha ha don't listen to me, I just woke up. I was thinking you had a dakota. The amps on your truck ARE on the speakers. Connected right to the front speakers.

Maybe, that amp on that speaker also runs the speaker in the rear on that side, so you'll lose that speaker as well.
