Default New Equipment Ordered!

So, I broke down and ordered some stereo replacement equipment today. Thanks to the suggestions by habeba86, I will be receiving the following next week sometime:

JVC HU:
http://www.crutchfield.com/S-fRinFRX...mp;I=257KDHDR1

CDT Component speakers:
http://www.woofersetc.com/index.cfm?...roduct_ID=4630

JBL 2-channel amp:
http://www.cardomain.com/item/JBLGTO752II

Now, I just need a couple suggestions on where to install the tweeters and the amp.

Thanks for the help! I'll post some pictures when I get my shipments in.

YAY CDT!!! There are alot of places to put the tweeter. A-pillar and in the upper part of the door by thesie mirrorsis most common. Some ppl like to mount then in the a-pillar and aim them towards the windshield...never heard a set-up like that so I have no experience with that...I might try that with my cdt's tho.

I was thinking about the door area by the mirrors as well. For the amp, I was thinking about putting under the rear seat, for looks more than anything. Else, under one of the seats.

Does anyone have any pictures of any tweeter installations in a Ram?

I will tonight.

Generally the best sounding tweeter should go as near the mid-range as possible. The modest controls of the deck will not provide the easiest path to great sound given the lack of TA (time alignment).

Agreed......If you find that you dont like how maybe the driver's side speaker gets to your ear ahead of the passenger, you can try wiring the tweeter out of phase.

Here is a cdt done Ram http://cdtaudio.com/dodgeram.htm

Thanks for the links and pics. I was hoping to see one of a tweeter installed on the side mirror part of the door. It looks a little curved so I was sorta worried about it not flush mounting. Any experience with this?
