The entire cab is getting stripped......I have been messing with tweeter placement for the last 2 hours...

 

Well.....I got the driver panel off and all the factory plastic crap off. Took the dash off and am going to re-solder all the connections and run my new rca cables......I am going to bed now.[sm=sleeping.gif]

 

im still eye'in my truck for a good tweeter placement...arrgh! Just got my cd player, sirius tuner, and mounting hardware today. Waiting on my components and amp, to arrive Friday they say.

I'm thinking the area on the door underneath the side mirror part. Decisions decisions...

Wont be till later tho...gota go to my insurance agent..cuz my wheel bearing went out last week and I had to get towed[:@] I gota go to lowes and get some lexan or plexi to cover the big holes in the door....need some modeling clay....and I have to drop by the bay to grab some more of my tools, and use our nice soldering guns instead of my crap one

Got the driver-side door all deadened and the passenger-side ready to go. Power wire is ran through the firewall and the dash is off also.... I have some jst random pics of stuff. When I do the passenger door I will have set by step pics, as I didnt have a camera when I started he build....had to go out and buy one jst for this buildNotice the temp of my garage.....goes to show how easy the deadener is to work with.....



Dodge was very nice to include some factory deadener.....



I still have to figure out how I want to install my woofer, but the deadening is done.

 

Looks pretty good so far, i most definately like the Rammat & Ensolite in my front doors. I will be doing the rear doors sometime soon. Its a little annoying that my brothers 06 F150 is quieter than my truck.

 

All the deadening is done......I used some 3/4 mdf I had laying around to make some adaptors and when I went to test fit the panel it was to tall...so I had to go find some crap tiny wood......lots of pics to come

 

That sucks, i used to have a ton of 3/4" & 1/2" MDF pieces laying around last year. Then i made shelves out of them.

What speakers are going in there?
