I already bought the bezel with nav and waiting for the install kit from metra to arrive. I dont need the can bus since i've already bypassed the stock amp. I've upgraded all speakers, 2 12's in the trunk and curently have a sony head unit. so i'm hoping that once i have all the parts, i can get this baby installed with minor mods. Sucks having a product for a month and not using it......lol

thats a good ? and to the best of my understanding the can-bus is
network made up of all the vehicles systems interconnected.
they comunicate bits of infosorted by vaying resistance.
so yes vss and many other things are and can be available
its a pain for us to learn and adapt to--but once the aftermarket
makes adapters for us -it makes things easier

Yeah I hear ya. I work at astereo shop, but we don't do an extraordinary amount of NAV systems. We do a good amount, but not tons. Factory systems are getting worse and worse. lol I did an 03 Acura TL today and she wanted to keep the factory radio. Well the TL's have that stupid Bose system with the processor that recieves signals from the radio, then sends them back to the radio to get amplified. What a pain to integrate. Finally figured it out. lol
Why can't they just make em simple?
