Default Odd Charger SRT8 Mule

so, While amanda and I were out and about this past weekend, we came across this odd piece. Its a charger SRT8 mule, with an odd hood and front end, all masked up...perhaps making room for a 392? however, the front seems shorter than a production unit to me...

note:THERE PICTURESARE NOT TO BE COPIED PR POSTED ON OTHER SITES WITHOUT MY PERMISSION. Thank you.

the item on the rear window...perhaps a resistance gauge of some sort?

The Charger along with the 300 and Magnum are supposed to be getting an aerodynamic facelift soon. So can this be the first sightings of one of these cars? And not a four door Challenger as some over at Allpar suggest? That thing on the back window may be a device to help calculate drag or changes in pressure over the rear window?

I've seen this before. Some thought it was the Challenger's front end added to the Charger for some unknown reason.

There is no doubt whatsoever in my mind that it's a Challenger front end...

Allpar has pics and Left Lane News does as well...

Actualy, those lines don't quite follow the lines of the Challenger, see how the line starts at the front there and then curves down behind the front wheel, the Challenger isn't like that, the line keeps going straight back, this may be a new retro front end for the Charger.

That is not a Challenger front fender for sure. The body line is wrong. The hood also appears to be flat as well. It about has to be a Charger redesign of some sort. I hope so anyway because the front end is what ruins the entire package for me.
