Anyone know if the V6 engine will be exactly the same... I hope so would probably help the aftermarket support of the V6 if they didn't change it...
I would love to see what the new instrumentation cluster panel looks like. If it still looks anything like the Durango, it will look butt ugly. I want the traditional cluster with all gauges like a truck is suppose to have!

I just looked and the Durango cluster looks just like my 3rd gen dak. What guages are we supposedly missing? I have all the same gauges on my 3rd gen that I had on my 95 chevy before.
I am talking about the original gauge cluster from 1st generation Durangos/Dakotas. Since the 2nd generation Durango came out and then the 3rd generation Dakotas came out, the new cluster dash is BUTT UGLY! The original 1 gen durango and 1and2 generation Dakota, you got your speedo, RPM, oil, volt, temp. I think the current setup is minus the temp and oil, cannot remember which two. I prefer a gauge over a dummy light for idiots anyways. Plus the current speedo is larger than life. I think too many blind people driving out there that needs to be removed from the roads.
we had one of these in the bump shop at my work. it was a laramie quad cab V8 quad cab 4x4. I think it looks a ton better than the current design. I managed to get a few pics before it got loaded into a trailer.
oh and as soon as they release the phoenix engines the dak is getting a 4 liter V6...no more 3.7
